I knew Sue because I am friends with John and D’Lyn Biggs. John and I have hunted many years in Snyder where Sue lived.  During the years of her fight with breast cancer I became painfully aware of the damage breast cancer can do to my friends.

One day as I left the hospital from seeing Sue I realized that this could be one of my daughters. My Grandmother had breast cancer, my “Aunt” Janet had breast cancer and my mother lives in constant fear that she will be next.

I could not bear the thought of sitting in a hospital room years from now, holding the hand of my girls in a fight with breast cancer.

I do not want to say “I wish I had done something to stop breast cancer”.

I am doing something to stop it now.

Cancer Sucks and I will not stand by and let it attack my girls.

I walk for my girls.
