Team Tiara Headquarters:

Our team will be staying at the La Quinta West Plano the night before the walk.  Any Walker Stalkers who are travelling from out of town are welcome to stay there all weekend!  Rooms are $59 for Thursday night, and $69 for Friday and Saturday nights.

Team Tiara Pep Rally:

Our team tiara pep rally will be Thursday, November 5 from 7-9 p.m.  We’ll be gathering at the La Quinta listed above.  Bring a snack or a beverage and any goodies that you have for our Goodie Bags.  If you’ve walked in the 3-Day before, please wear a Victory Shirt (the shirt you get at the Finish Line.)  That way, you’ll stand out as someone who knows what they’re doing and can help answer questions.  Can’t wait to see you there!

Opening Ceremony:

Survivor's Circle, Opening Ceremonies

This celebration is not just for participants. Friends and family are highly encouraged to attend, though please note that seating will not be available, so if you are unable to stand for 30-60 minutes, you may want to bring a folding chair. Please allow extra travel time due to expected traffic congestion at the site.

After the Opening Ceremony is over, participants will begin walking the 60-mile route and start a journey of a lifetime. It will be even more special if you are there to help send them off with smiles and encouragement. We’ll also have a Breast Cancer 3-Day gear store on site if you’d like to purchase a souvenir for yourself or your participant.

Schedule for the Day:
4:00 am - Crew members should arrive.
5:30 am – 6:00 - Walkers should arrive.
6:30 am – Opening Ceremony begins with community stretching.

Driving Directions:
From 75/Central Expressway, take exit #31 – Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Head east on Spring Creek Parkway (a right turn if you are northbound and a left turn if you are southbound on 75). Plano Centre will be on the right, between K Avenue & Jupiter Road.

Cheering Stations:

Cheering Station information will not be available until two weeks before the walk.

Closing Ceremony
After three days and 60 miles, participants will take a final and incredibly emotional victory walk into the Closing Ceremony. Friends, family and supporters should arrive at the Closing Ceremony site at least one hour early to get the best view of the program. Please allow extra travel time due to expected traffic congestion at the site.

The Finish Line!

All walkers and crew members should remain in the Participant Holding Area where they will receive a victory shirt, cheer on fellow walkers and crew members and celebrate one last time together before their dramatic victory walk. The Participant Holding area is CLOSED to spectators. If you wish to meet with a participant before the Ceremony begins, please have them meet you at the Closing Ceremony site. All participants must return to the Holding Area no later than a half hour prior to the Ceremony in order to join the victory walk.

Don’t forget to continue the spirit of kindness we’ll be building on the Breast Cancer 3-Day throughout and beyond the Closing Ceremony!

Be green with the Green Line - Look for information about the DART Green Line which begins daily service to Fair Park on September 14!

From North Dallas, Richardson, Plano and other locations north of Dallas: Go south on US 75, exit onto I-30 east, then take Exit 47 (Second Avenue/Fair Park) and continue forward to Fair Park.

From Arlington, Irving, Fort Worth and other locations west of Dallas: Go east on I-30, then take Exit 47 (Second Avenue/Fair Park) and continue forward to Fair Park.

From Flower Mound, Lewisville and other locations northwest of Dallas: Go south on I-35E, take the left lane exit onto I-30 east, then take Exit 47 (Second Avenue/Fair Park) and continue forward to Fair Park.

From East Dallas, Mesquite, Rockwall and other locations east of Dallas: Go west on I-30, take Exit 47C (First Avenue/Fair Park), turn right on Exposition and continue forward to Fair Park.

From Downtown Dallas: Go east on Commerce St., turn right onto Second Ave. and continue forward to Fair Park.
